An Atlantic front is expected to put Galicia and Cantabrian on notice due to coastal phenomena.

Galicia will be this saturday in atotal orange (important risk) due to coastal phenomena as a result of the entry of an Atlantic front that will cross the Peninsula from west to east, with abundant cloudiness, rain and showers, reports the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The front will also put a yellow warning due to coastal phenomena Asturias, Cantabria and Basque Country, to Extremadura due to rain and Navarra due to wind.

Precipitation may be locally persistent in the north of Cáceres and be accompanied by an occasional storm in the peninsular southwest; they will be weaker and more dispersed the further east and they are not expected to affect the easternmost Mediterranean coast.

In the western half of the peninsula, the rainfall will subside after the front passes and clearings will open, except in Galicia, where they will be reactivated in the afternoon. In the Balearic and Canary Islands, there will be cloudy intervals.

Probability of morning fog in areas of Andalusia, northeast of Castilla-La Mancha, lower and middle Ebro, interior of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.

– GALICIA: cloudy sky, with the opening of some clearings in the afternoon.
